Dental clinic ANTONELLIS DENTAL SPECIALISTS was founded in 2017, in Chalandri aiming to provide high quality specialized services of dental care in the broader region of the Northern suburbs of Athens.

Every single case, every single problem of the oral cavity, from the simplest to the most complex, is treated by specialized doctors with emphasis on a painless, relaxing, and pleasant experience for the patient.

Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties that are accredited by the American Dental Association.

A prosthodontist is a dentist specialized in the aesthetic and functional restoration of lost teeth or dental tissues. Treatment plans of full mouth rehabilitation for patients with total or partial tooth loss, either through the use of dental implants or through the insertion of crowns and ceramic bridges, are part of the everyday life in the specialty of Prosthodontics. A similar approach is followed for treatment plans that aim to improve the aesthetic appearance and to reconstruct and rejuvenate the smile through the use of restorative interventions such as ceramic veneers.

In recent times, there has been an increased demand for dental restoration through the use of implants and this has made a Prosthodontist’s role necessary for the efficient implementation of both small and large scale treatment plans with a high degree of predictability. The demand for dental implants in the field of reconstructive dentistry is so high these days that the role of the Prosthodontist has become indispensable in order to assure a responsible and predictable execution of such treatment plans.

Through the three-year mandatory training in a certified post graduate program in Prosthodontics, a minimum of 10.000 hours of practice are completed which are deemed as necessary in the US for a dentist to be recognized as an expert in a field of specialization. For that reason, Prosthodontists may be perceived as specialized “architects” of the mouth that are able to design and construct the most appropriate restoration plans for every clinical case, ensuring excellent oral function and perfect smile appearance.

Prosthodontists are the authority of full mouth rehabilitation and the specialists difficult cases are often referred to by other colleagues. Through their clinical training, Prosthodontists develop a way of thinking that has a problem solving attitude as its core and a mindset that is characterized by the always composed resolution of difficult situations.
